These are Moroccan honey pastries with sesame. They're a must during Ramadan and are always warmly welcomed by guests invited to Iftar.   / kikiskitchenyt   For the dough: • 300 g flour • 5 g baking powder • Pinch of salt • 1 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp ground anise • 1/4 tsp turmeric • 70 g sesame seeds, toasted and ground • 35 g sunflower or rapeseed oil • 30 g melted butter • 70 ml water • 30 ml orange blossom water • 1 tsp table vinegar Also: • 1-1.5 l neutral oil for frying • 750 g-1 kg honey • Toasted sesame seeds for sprinkling the finished chebakia You can find last year's Ramadan series with super delicious dishes, including ouzi, Jordanian kunefe, maklube, and more. here: https://bit.ly/2Ihl0xh Have fun cooking and a blessed Lent!
