Dirt Road trip out to Fonts Point in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California - 4k 4x4 drive

This drive detours off of San Diego County Route S22 just a few miles outside of Borrego Springs, California. We'll go out to Fonts Point for a look at the view, then return to the highway. This is usually a good place to see wildflowers during the spring bloom, and although 2026 was a good year for wildflowers in Anza-Borrego, I had arrived just a few days too late to see much. But the drive was still a whole lot of fun! This road is probably best traveled in a 4 wheel drive, high-clearance vehicle. It's not terribly bumpy, but there are some sandy spots that could cause a problem for smaller cars. I made this trip in March 2026. Video elements are copyrighted.
