Lime Soda Method-By Dr. Anjali Ssaxena
In this Video I have explained Principle, advantages and disadvantages of Lime Soda method. Lime- Ca(OH)2 Soda-Na2CO3 Lime soda is useful in the treatment of large volume of water or we can say it is used mainly in industries. Lime soda is external method of water softening. Other external methods are Zeolite, ion exchange and RO. By Lime and soda all soluble impurities present in Hard water are converted into insoluble precipitate, which can be remove by sedimetation and filteration.
