The ancient city of the Nabataean Kingdom, “Petra,” suddenly appears deep within the desert's rocky mountains. El Khazneh emerges beyond the Siq. And Ad-Deir sits atop the mountain you climb. This place was simply incredible. I was overwhelmed by its unique, unparalleled world. I've visited many World Heritage sites, but Petra undoubtedly ranks among the top sites I'm glad I visited in my lifetime.
