10 years after downing of MH17, closure remains out of reach for many victims' families
Tomorrow (17 July) marks 10 years since Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers and cabin crew on board. In 2014, MH17 was en route to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam when it was hit by a Russian-made missile. In 2022, a Dutch court convicted two Russians and a Ukrainian for their roles in shooting down the Boeing 777, but the men remain at large. Closure remains out of reach for many of the victims' families. Melissa Goh joins us live from Vijfhuizen in the Netherlands.
