Philosophie de terrain et défense des droits par Christiane Vollaire
Christiane Vollaire, a philosopher and research associate at the CNAM's Center for Research on Work and Development, and a member of the "Non-Places of Exile" program, revisits the notion of field philosophy. She explains how a segment of contemporary philosophy takes into account the relationship to the field and, to this end, works through interviews. This philosophy also forges links with the social sciences, history, geography, and law. Drawing on her field philosophy work conducted in Poland, Egypt, Chile, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, and currently in France, Christiane Vollaire demonstrates how philosophy can engage with issues of migration, the right to housing, and resistance to globalization.
