The first baby deer of the year has been born in Nara Park. The baby deer, looking sleepy as its mother grooms it, was confirmed in Nara Park on May 3rd. Its sex is not yet known, but it weighs approximately 3 kg. Previously, pregnant deer in Nara Park were temporarily placed in a shelter to avoid conflicts with tourists. However, since incidents have decreased due to warning signs and other measures, the park has decided to allow deer to give birth within the park this year.
