Instant Pot Quince Dessert The Most Delicious Dessert and Without Sugar

Stepes: Cut the quince in half. Remove the core, but keep some of the seeds. Add 1 to 1.5 cups of water to the inner pot. Add 1/4 cup of maple syrup, regular sugar, or any sweetener. Add the quince halves to the inner pot. Add some seeds to each half, and some to the bottom of the pot. Add your favorite sweetener. I added about 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of date sugar to each quince half. Place the inner pot in the main pot and close the lid. Set the handle to the closed position. The safety pin should be in the down position. Cook under pressure for 10 minutes. Release the remaining pressure after 5 minutes. For softer quinces, keep the remaining pressure on for 10 minutes. Open the pot when the safety pin is in the bottom. You'll notice the date sugar darkens, while regular sugar won't. I used the sauté setting for a few minutes to thicken the liquid. This is an optional step. Let the dessert cool completely. Enjoy quince with a little whipped cream, cream, or vanilla ice cream, and a sprinkle of chopped pistachios (optional).
