Newhaven To Dieppe Crossing. 5 week French Caravan Trip Begins..🏕️🇫🇷🏖️

Our 5 week trip to France begins.. We leave Newhaven heading for Dieppe with our twin axle caravan in tow. The first two hours of the crossing the sea was a bit too rough and it was windy, fortunately we had a cabin. We arrived at our campsite at 10pm and had to pitch up in the dark with a large kerb to navigate! The next day we did a bit of food shopping, as the weather was a bit rough we have a change of plan and skipped our next campsite booking to head a bit further south were at least it was a bit warmer. Whilst walking under a conker tree I have a near miss from a conker hitting me on the head, I start to suspect dark forces are at play. First the rough seas, then the awkward camp site pitch in the dark , then the rain and now conkers are attacking me - what next? Well, my camera is confiscated when we visit a Chateau!
