With the Ferdinand, Posch has developed a log splitter that sets a new standard. It combines massive splitting power with innovative sensor technology and convenient operation. The splitter is available with 22 or 26 tons of splitting power. It can be driven either by a cardan shaft or by an electric motor. For our test, Posch provided us with the 22-ton model with a combined drive, cable winch, and full safety features. The splitter is designed for log lengths between 55 and 110 centimeters and accommodates logs up to 60 centimeters in diameter.
