A week of eating in Singapore: Scallion pancakes, Mushroom soup, Singapore noodles, noodle soup

Didn't cook much this week as there was construction going on downstairs, which made it unsuitable for filming. On top of that, i took the day off from work to hang out with a friend. Lots of going out this week too (including the park walk). The morning walk in the park was really nice and peaceful. It's nice to touch grass once in a while. It's also been a while since I had the local deep-fried carrot cake sticks. They are technically made from mashed-up radish and flour, but in Singapore, we call it carrot cake. It's unhealthy, that's why i rarely ate it. But the one in Ci Yuan Hawker Centre is SO GOOD!! A good fried carrot cake is when it's soft inside and crispy outside.
