Dipingere senza regole" (27 settembre 2024 - 26 gennaio 2025), Palazzo Strozzi ospita una speciale tavola rotonda per esplorare la vita e l’opera di Frankenthaler, le sue relazioni con altri artisti suoi contemporanei e la ricezione storica e recente del suo lavoro tra Europa e Stati Uniti. Moderato da Douglas Dreishpoon, Direttore dell’Helen Frankenthaler Catalogue Raisonné e curatore della mostra, il panel riunisce studiosi, curatori e scrittori internazionali, proponendo una riflessione sull’impatto di Frankenthaler sull’arte moderna e contemporanea e approfondendo le connessioni artistiche e le influenze creative che hanno plasmato la sua pratica nel corso della sua carriera di oltre sei decenni. _ In conjunction with the major exhibition "Helen Frankenthaler: Painting Without Rules" (27 September 2024 – 26 January 2025), Palazzo Strozzi is hosting a special panel discussion to explore Frankenthaler’s life and work, her friendships with kindred artists, and her reception in Europe—both past and present.
