Two Nights Solo Camping and Fishing on Skiff | NATIVE BRAWLERS

For the next two nights, I’m going to be solo-camping on the skiff in the headwaters of a spring-fed river, hidden in the sand dunes of the Great Sandy National Park. I’ll be chasing one of the most northern native strains of Australian Bass in its deep, dark, tannin stained waters. The headwaters in this system are special, there are no dams, no weirs, and the river winds untouched for more than 60 kilometres through national park where the bass can move throughout the system and head to the salt to breed with no obstructions. As pristine and beautiful as it is, heading into summer means the storms in SEQ can be unpredictable. https://www.holtproductions.com.au Last restock of the year and summer apparel dropping Friday Dec 5th, 6pm AEST.
