The first major milestone has arrived. In this episode of Four Luxury Homes, we pour the concrete foundations for the first of four luxury family homes. After weeks of site preparation, setting out, excavation and groundwork, the foundation trenches are finally ready for concrete. We follow the entire process from the arrival of the concrete wagons through to placing, levelling and finishing the foundations. Because of the size and layout of the trenches, some of the concrete has to be transferred using the excavator bucket to ensure every section is filled accurately and the finished levels are exactly where they need to be. This stage is critical because everything that follows relies on getting the foundations right. The walls, floors and structure of the house will all be built on top of the work completed in this video.
