Morjim CRZ Demolition Paused on Day 5; Morje Alleges Illegal Detention

The demolition drive against alleged Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) violations at Temwada, Morjim remained suspended on the fifth day, with no structures being demolished on Friday. Despite the halt in demolition work, the Mamlatdar, Additional Collector, and Mandrem Police were present at the site. Officials spent the day carrying out measurements of the structures that had been demolished during the previous four days of the High Court-directed operation. Meanwhile, Dilip Morje and Dhruv Morje alleged that they had been illegally detained by the authorities during the course of the demolition drive.
