In this episode, I’m diving into how I read the battery State of Health (SOH) on my Kia e-Niro 64 kWh 4+, now sitting at 58,567 miles. Using a ✅simple Bluetooth OBD dongle and the Car Scanner app, you can pull up all sorts of useful battery data: charging history, cell voltages, pack balance, rapid charge count, and of course the headline stat… ✅ the state of health. I’ll show you where the OBD port is, how to plug in the dongle, how to connect the app, and which screens give you the real geeky goodness EV owners love. Spoiler: after nearly 59k miles, the battery’s still showing 100% SOH and delivering the same real-world range as new.
