Colloque - Du repérage de l'amiante aux solutions pratiques d'interventions - Table ronde 2

The symposium organized by the Cramif (Regional Health Insurance Fund of Île-de-France) gives a platform to local authorities and project owners to address issues specific to asbestos risk. During this second roundtable discussion, eight speakers took the floor. Julie Jan, a sanitary engineer at the Île-de-France Regional Health Agency, presented the regulatory framework for asbestos identification. Aurélie Ascaride, a prevention engineer for the regional inter-institutional asbestos group at the Regional Directorate for the Economy, Employment, Labor and Solidarity, discussed the importance of regulations related to asbestos identification before work begins. Zouhir Cherine, a prevention engineer at the interdepartmental management center for the inner suburbs of Île-de-France, and Steven MPemba, an asbestos and lead expert trainer at the Val-de-Marne Departmental Council, presented the role of the CIG (Inter-departmental Management Center) and the asbestos-related actions carried out in collaboration with several local authorities. Florent Marchetti, head of the occupational risk prevention office, and Isabelle Josselin, occupational risk prevention advisor, both at the Seine-Saint-Denis Departmental Council, explain the difficulties of conducting asbestos surveys in occupied buildings and communicating the information to companies. Véronique Merle, architect, real estate project manager, and industry expert at the Union of National Social Security Funds, shares her thoughts on the need to identify the right professionals, be able to analyze survey reports, and collaborate with specialized project management consultants (MOE or AMO) to produce accurate written documents. The goal is for the services to be carried out safely and with controlled costs. Benoît Ducrot, national asbestos specialist at Bureau Veritas France, discusses the training of asbestos surveyors following recent regulatory and standards changes. He also discusses asbestos surveys in other sectors and shares his perspective on these areas.
