This never before published family video was taken in the outskirts of Lithuanian capital Vilnius on August 23, 1989. The peaceful demonstration called "Baltic Way" took place across the three Baltic states occupied by Soviet Union. About 2,000,000 people joined their hands to form live 675 kilometers long human chain from Vilnius to Tallinn to show their determination to gain independence from the Soviet Union.
