Dash 8 Q400 Go-Around and Missed Approach Tutorial | Real Dash 8 Pilot
Welcome to the ninth video in my tutorial series. In this video we do two approaches in to LOWW, Vienna Airport that both lead to a go-around and missed approach. The first one is is flown as an ILS to runway 29, and the second one we are flying the RNP to runway 29. PF refers to Pilot Flying and PM refers to Pilot Monitoring, the terms used in the flightdeck today to describe who is flying and who is monitoring. Normally this changes every flight leg. In the simulator we are alone and have to do both sides at the same time, increasing complexity and workload. This video is made for simulator use only.
