NCAA Footsweeps

Here's a dilemma, Coaches. You see a cool move like the foot sweep, your wrestlers will think it is cool too. Do you spend the incredible amount of time working on it required to be able to hit it in a big match? Good question. But if your guys pick it up, some big points on tough guys could come. The video opens with two looks of Illinois' Matt Lackey's classic in the 2003 165 NCAA final. Then you see some stars using it off the Russian tie (Kolat, Travis Lee, Pritzlaff). There are a lot from head ties including one by Trenge, one from a double under hook. Two looks of Mitch Clark's 1998 NCAA final straight to the back. And finally, at the 1:25 mark on, we see from the foot sweep master, Steve Mocco, who hits several of them including two in the NCAA finals (2003, 2005).
