Fender Champ 5F1: biased way too hot
I had a look at DC Snakebuster's Fender Champ clone only to find it dissipating 19-20W. With an older rectifier tube I could get it down to 17W...before replacing any parts in the amp, I discovered a problem with the power transformer wiring...
