Tastefully Modded 1909 Otis Traction Elevator @ The Stanley Hotel Estes Park Colorado

Here is the elevator at the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park Colorado. Now this elevator is a treat! This thing was very tastefully modded. This is a 1909 Otis elevator that was originally manually controlled, but as since been modernized in a way to preserve it’s historical charm! Although it was given a modern panel, they kept the original cab, along with the spot where the old controller used to be. This might be one of the coolest modernizations I’ve ever seen, and I’m very glad I got a video of this elevator! It ran very well, and was in good shape!
