LITERARY TREASURE HUNT WALK | MIDDLETON TO YOULGREAVE

My walk today takes me between the Peak District villages of Middleton and Youlgreave in search of literary treasure! It is a short and easy walk created as a millennium project by Middleton and Smerrill Parish around its boundary in the Derbyshire Peak. It marks the seventeen entrances to its parish with boundary stones each inscribed with a text chosen by members of the parish. This walk was inspired by an article in the Countryfile magazine I read a few years ago.
