A normative China and a geopolitical Europe – have the roles been reversed?

NUPI invites you to a seminar with Professor Reuben Wong on China in the new geopolitical era. As global power dynamics shift and the rules of international engagement are rewritten, understanding China’s evolving role is crucial. How is China responding to a changing world order – and what does this mean for the rest of us? Join us for a timely conversation with Professor Reuben Wong (National University of Singapore) as we explore China’s strategies, ambitions and behaviours on the global stage. This seminar will examine the challenges and opportunities facing China under the Trump 2.0 administration. How is China recalibrating its approach to the United States, Russia, the European Union, and its Asian neighbours? And how are these relationships shaping its foreign policy decisions? Reuben Wong is Deputy Head and Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science at the National University of Singapore.
