Ministry of Defender 300Tdi AC install

Here is a brief run down of how I ran the plumbing and AC compressor install of MoD complete 300Tdi kit. The folks at MoD were very helpful in answering all my questions (Thank you Chelle). The kit is a basic install kit and will get the system up and running. If you are looking for a more custom install you may want to consider replacing the Standard Barrier hoses with Reduced Barrier hoses as they will be easier to run and allow for a tighter turning radius. The included AC mounting bracket is an interesting design but complicates the install by raising the AC compressor away from the engine to create the needed tension on the belt. A better solution would be a fixed bracket and using the Land Rover belt tension that attaches to the inspection plate of the engine. This would prevent possible issue with clearance between the compressor and the under frame of the bonnet.
