It's been a long time since I enjoyed a drama so much. I love everything about it (those who say this drama isn't gay/bl enough don't interact). The themes, the characters, the relationships, the camera work, the fighting scenes (after nif and cql shitty choreo.... god bless jackie chan for my rights). The drama is about the most important things in life. I'm rewatching it already. I was thinking about making found family, food, and home as central themes of the video, but it didn't come together. So I decided to focus on Dong'er and in my opinion, the video came out pretty well, though it's a bit rustic since I'm only figuring out how to work around the colouring and camerawork of this show which is just absolutely incredible, one of the most beautiful shows I've seen. Dong'er is a child, but I'm so glad she's such a well-rounded character in the show, bringing so much into it. On her own and as a reflection of other character arcs. This show is incredible. Dong'er is incredible. She's the best girl. So this video is about her: the brilliant girl, her unwavering loyalty, her loving family she found along the way.
