The ability to allow sensations in the body is one of the most important skills for regulating the nervous system, processing emotions, and reducing chronic symptoms. Most people try to fight, fix, or avoid what they feel. But real healing happens when you learn to feel safely. In this video, I guide you through a somatic meditation practice to help you: • Allow sensations in your body without fear • Experience emotions more safely • Create a sense of nervous system safety • Reduce chronic pain and symptom sensitivity over time This practice is especially helpful for: • Chronic pain and neuroplastic symptoms • Anxiety and nervous system dysregulation • Emotional overwhelm or suppression • Health anxiety and body scanning Important: This meditation is best practiced when your symptoms or emotions are at a mild to moderate level, where you can stay present and engaged. If things feel too intense, pause and come back when you feel more regulated. Why this works: Chronic symptoms and emotional distress are often driven by a sensitized nervous system. By learning to safely attend to and allow sensations, you teach your brain that these experiences are not dangerous.
