Using Shattering Palm alongside Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder, and Cast on Crit Grim Pillars, the build chains explosions across entire screens while maintaining exceptional single-target damage for endgame encounters with zero swap. You probably want a Sinister Quarterstaff base with Flat Cold + Flat Lightning + Elemental Damage with Attacks Prefix and Crit Hit + Crit Bonus Quarterstaff instead of full Physical... I just don't have the budget for a strong one and I'm too lazy to craft one for myself haha Headhunter is not needed for the build but helps alleviate attribute pressure. Just use a rare belt with strength and figure out where to find the dexterity and intelligence elsewhere. Another solid budget option is Shavronne's Satchel. Glove Crafting Process: Buy any fractured ilvl 81+ gloves with +2 to Melee Skills (base type does not matter unless you are going for Strength or Intelligence which turns into AoE and CDR). Apply a Katla's Gloom modifier rune. Annul until only the fractured +2 Melee Skills modifier and one additional modifier remain. Chaos Orb spam until you hit either Magnitude of Bleeding or Magnitude of Poison (Bleeding is preferred). Exalt a suffix, use a Crystallized Omen to remove the suffix, then apply an Essence of Hysteria. Desecrate a suffix. Pray for Arcane Surge. Other desirable outcomes, in order, are: Attack Speed, Intelligence, Strength, Critical Hit Chance, Reduced Attribute Requirements, and Gain Mana per Kill. Use a Perfect + Greater Omen and hope for strong prefixes. Added Cold Damage to Attacks and Added Lightning Damage to Attacks are best-in-slot, but any non-Life and Mana prefix is generally a good outcome.
