This song answers from Tantai Jin’s side. He spent his whole life being feared, hurt, and treated like something cursed before he ever had the chance to become anything else. Ye Xiwu was the first person who made him want to open his heart, the first person who made him feel seen, wanted, and almost human. But she never fully trusted him.
