Quick & Easy Upcycles: Military Style Backpack & Free People Sweatshirt with Lemon Appliqué

Small, quick upcycles can still make an impact and be a great addition to your closet. This military backpack I got at the Goodwill Outlet has so much space for overnight travel or for storing projects I am working on. A missing strap makes for an opportunity for a creative closure. And a We The Free striped sweatshirt I thrifted had a monogram stitches on it. While I initially thought I could just seam rip it and wear it, I did end up creating holes I was not to pleased with. I decided to cover it up with an appliqué using lemon fabric I got at the Goodwill Outlet. Both projects turned out so good and I love using them now.
