When Evie informs her mother how obnoxious he is, Donna tells her that he needs a companion. Donna has a nasty experience with the boy's father, who is equally unpleasant, but Donna having no idea who he is. Evie decides to bring the youngster and his father to dinner to show Donna what she is up against. ▫ Episode 19: “AKA: Dad” Donna's mother pays another visit to Marlowe, and this time she assumes Buzz is Troy since she witnesses them conducting an intimate dance when she arrives ▫ Episode 20: “The Illness” Evie begins to exhibit symptoms of an extraterrestrial sickness, but is she alone? ▫ Episode 21: “The Box Is Missing” Evie discovers a new power before leaving on a trip. When Evie returns, she discovers that the cube she uses to communicate with her father has vanished. A detective has been assigned to find the missing cube. Plot: When a teen realizes her birth father is an alien, she discovers she possesses extraordinary abilities. The story is centered around Evie Ethel Garland, the daughter of Troy and Donna Garland. Troy, on the other hand, is an extraterrestrial from the planet Antares. As the book proceeds, Evie gains three talents as a result of her half-alien ancestry. She has the ability to halt and unpause time, to "gleep" items into existence, and to teleport herself from one location to another.
