How Important Is Punctuation for IELTS?

Punctuation tends to fill people with a sense of dread. Even native speakers of English struggle with it. However, is it really that difficult? Whilst mastering all the rules of punctuation may be a tough task, for IELTS you are only required to know the basics. Just knowing these fundamentals and avoiding big errors would be enough to let you score band 9. In this video, I will explain why punctuation is important and then talk about the most important rules. I will guide you through the different uses for full stops, commas, semi-colons, question marks, and exclamation marks. I think you will be pleasantly surprised to find that it isn't as difficult as you would imagine.
