Our very first bikepacking trip - touring Southern Vancouver Island by bike in a rainstorm.

This, our first bikepacking adventure brings us from the Nanaimo ferry to Cowichan Lake, Port Renfrew to Shawnigan Lake, Duncan to Saltspring Island. In total we cover about 400km of rainforest on forestry roads, secondary highways and purpose-built trails. We were never too far away from a rainstorm, getting soaked multiple times in just a few days.
