Paul Hindmarsh, Yamaha Guitar Group's Creative Multimedia Content Manager, shares the story behind his custom Yamaha Pacifica guitar. A long-time fan of the Pacifica series, Paul was thrilled to have the opportunity to design his dream guitar from scratch, working with the Yamaha Guitar Development team to make it a reality. Paul started the design process with an existing Pacifica shape and drew inspiration for the details from his vintage guitars, a Yamaha Revstar prototype, a Yamaha BB, and his Line 6 JTV-69. “To be involved in every aspect of your instrument’s design and build from day one is like a dream come true,” said Paul.
