Intense penalty shootout:Zapami Vs Pfutseromi/Khezha-Kuzha Tephe Sports Association meet 2023 Zapami village defeated two times defending champions Pfutseromi village via tie breaker 4-3 after the match ended in 2-2 draw to lift the football title for 40th sports meet 2023 of Khezha-Kuzha Tephe Sports Association (KKTSA) played here at Sports Complex, Pfutsero. Playing in front of the pack ground at Pfutsero, the exciting match that saw Pfutseromi scoring two goals in the second half but failed to take the advantage as Zapami village scored two goals in the last 10 minute to make it 2-2 till the end of the stipulated time. It was the champions team that failed to contain the pressure of Zapami's counter attack. Their pressure game found the first goal in 73rd minute and the equaliser in 79th minute to make the match thrilling. The intense penalty shootout saw Zapami captain Senowe missing the first kick but Wede missed his shot to give Zapami team the confidence. It was jubilation for Zapami team when Azo scored the fifth shot and make a historic win of the football championship. Eight villages under KKTAGSA- Pfutseromi, Lekromi, Lewoza, Kami, Zapami, Lasumi, Leshemi and Khezhakeno joined the meet.
