For Healing Potions’ debut release, Copenhagen producer A.dixen delivers Oceanic Memory – a four–track EP that explores the fragility of memory and its ebb and flow, like waves on open water. Shaped from modular sketches, sequencer-driven loops, and extended hardware jams, the record drifts between dub abstraction, bass-weighted minimalism, and hazy atmospheres. Low-end pressure churns beneath the surface while lighter textures shimmer and dissolve above, creating a balance between clarity and blur – presence and recollection. Tracks unfold with a hypnotic patience: polyrhythms, off-kilter grooves, and deep, aquatic basslines that sit somewhere between techno, progressive, and UK-inspired sounds — always with a leftfield sensibility.
