When a patient arrives at the Emergency Room (ER), they require special attention from the nursing team. Both the patient and the nursing technicians need to be aware of certain procedures depending on the severity of each situation. In this case, we've created a hypothetical case of Acute Pulmonary Edema (APE). Acute pulmonary edema is a serious condition that can quickly lead to death, and the prognosis is poor. Rapid intervention is essential to ensure the patient's survival. Everyone on the nursing team needs to be aware of the condition and what we can do to help, as some actions can make treatment impossible.
