Acoustic Guitar Sessions Presents Robert Earl Keen
Robert Earl Keen stopped by the Acoustic Guitar offices while in town for his appearance at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Watch the folk-country icon perform two songs from his illustrious back catalog, which often draws inspiration from his everyday experiences as a lifelong Texan (note his battered Collings OM2H). Keen begins with "Mariano," off his 1989 album West Textures, adding that it was one of his mother's favorite songs. He then treats us to his 2005 track, "Mr. Wolf and Mamabear," a song shrouded in so much mystery that one fan wrote him a dissertation explaining its meaning (Keen says the fan was wrong). _______________ Still haven’t subscribed to Acoustic Guitar on YouTube? ►► https://bit.ly/2TUBSRb http://acousticguitar.com https://acousticguitar.com/newsletter/ https://store.acousticguitar.com/page...
