This was one of the most emotional moments of our lives. After being apart for a year and a half, we finally reunited with my parents in Poland. The tears, the hugs, the love — all of it reminded us just how precious family is. I travelled with my kids from the UK to Poland while my husband and daughter stayed back temporarily. But this moment — being able to hug my parents again after 18 long months — was everything.
