Mahama Government Is Accountability-Conscious — Ahmed Ibrahim

The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has described the John Mahama government as accountability-conscious, stressing that Municipal and District Chief Executives must be fully answerable for their stewardship. Addressing the Bono Regional House of Chiefs in Sunyani, Mr Ibrahim reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering on its development agenda and called on MMDCEs to work closely with traditional leaders to strengthen local governance.
