A Pesquisa sobre o Jesus Histórico Hoje | Diálogo Sem Fronteira (2015)

In this program, historian and archaeologist Pedro Paulo Funari, from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences at Unicamp, interviews André Chevitarese, an archaeologist and professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Unicamp collaborator. They discuss the historical Jesus, accessible to any researcher who wishes to consider him as an object of study, and how to arrive at this Jesus through the writings of the New Testament, archaeological records, and information produced by the Roman Empire. They also address resistance in academia to studies related to religious themes.
