Arboleas Spain Discovering the Almanzora Valley

The Almanzora valley is a beautiful area off the tourist path. Located in the Almeria Province in Southern Spain, its near our home in Arboleas. The Via Verde cycle and pedestrian way is maintained by several local towns, it follows the route of the old railway line which ran from Guadix in Granada to Almendricos in Murcia 140km . The restored level route near my home follows through the towns of Arboleas to Olula del Rio and beyond. The area has the small towns Almanzora and Cantoria both of which have rich history's.
