The water plunges almost 46 meters into the depths here – surrounded by mighty Douglas firs, quiet paths, and the mysterious echo of times past. In the 19th century, Lord Tweedmouth, owner of the Guisachan estate and founder of the Golden Retriever breed, had the river diverted to make this waterfall even more impressive. Today, a narrow path leads through the lush greenery to a viewing platform from which you can gaze directly into the depths – an experience you'll never forget.
