In this second installment of our three part series, we take a look at the next chapter in the long legacy of Batman. After Batman and Robin tanked at the box office, Warner Brothers needed a new direction for The Dark Knight. Bringing in up and coming director Christopher Nolan, WB was taking Batman into a more gritty, realistic tone of storytelling.
