Today, however, Mitra Samaj is perhaps more known for its Buns and Goli Bajje, scrumptious snacks I tried on my earlier visit to film a Gourmet On The Road episode. This time though, I was keen to introduce the boss to the delicious wonders of this 73-year-old Udupi tiffin house. This breakfast outing also turned into an impromptu meet-up with viewers from across the country, fitting in its temple complex setting where people from all walks of life converge in faith.
