The Star Citizen Dilemma: Why CIG Fixes the Wrong Things! Enough is enough! The new damage model and cargo elevators in Star Citizen Alpha 4.8 were supposed to be the next big step, but the current state is causing massive frustration in the community. In this video, I respond to the absolutely spot-on criticism from creator Kabutopz and give my honest opinion on the current development policy of Cloud Imperium Games (CIG). We're analyzing the broken in-game economy, where, according to Kabutopz, you'd have to fly 447 monotonous refueling missions just to afford a Constellation Taurus. Add to that the broken cargo elevators, the annoying endless loop of DD radio chatter, and the quantum travel bug affecting the $650 Ironclad. The excuse "It's just an alpha" simply doesn't fly anymore after over a billion dollars in funding. If CIG can't stabilize the game and releases a glitchy Squadron 42, it will be mercilessly crushed by heavyweights like GTA 6. What do you think? Has CIG completely lost focus?
