Today, I am tackling an EXTREMELY lightweight windbreaker jacket. This may sound daunting but is very possible by following the proper steps. Enjoy! Thanks for watching my video. Products Used in Video (Non-affiliate links): Midwest Products – 5.5” Mighty Hoop & Hoop Station https://www.mightyhoop.com/order-main... Detailed Breakdown: For this left chest design on a windbreaker, I am utilizing the Hooping station and 5.5” Mighty Hoop by Midwest Products. To set this up, I have the fixture located at the position required for a left chest design on a large garment. Once ready, I place the lower mighty hoop which locks in. After that, I place in the two sheets of 2.5 oz cutaway stabilizer and lock it into place with the magnets on the fixture. The lightweight windbreaker from Independent Trading Co. is now ready to slide on top of the hoop station, making sure it is square and the collar is set at the proper location. The best part comes next when placing the top of the 5.5” Mighty Hoop onto the arms and pressing them down locking it into the bottom hoop with a satisfying click. After removing the hoop and jacket, it is ready to be embroidered. When sliding the garment onto the embroidery arms, it is important to make sure nothing gets stuck in between the hoop and the arm as it may cause the embroidery to stitch through and damage the back side of the garment. After getting it set properly, I always recommend tracing the design in the hoop to make sure it is in the proper location and will not crash into the hoop. Finally, sit back and let the machine do all the hard work, only tending to it for thread breaks. Once complete, the hoop and garment can be removed. I then take this to a separate table to clean up the excess threads and stabilizer. It is very important to take your time on this step because the hard work is done but the garment can still be damaged if accidently cut while trimming the stabilizer. Cut carefully and clean up as much as necessary. Thanks for watching! Chapters: 00:00 Setup 01:09 Begin Embroidery 02:22 Cleanup/Finishing 03:00 Shop Dog, Duke
