My Final Day Teaching at School in Cambodia
We spent the morning making origami cranes together, laughing over folded paper and failed attempts. I gave my students a few small gifts before saying goodbye, which honestly felt much harder than I expected. Later, we shared a traditional Cambodian dish that’s usually eaten at weddings, and the school organized a farewell party for me and another volunteer. Surrounded by teachers, students, and people who made this place feel like home, I realized how much this experience changed me.
