We also look at some of the many varieties of this easy care succulent that are available for sale, Recently these plants have been reclassified, so Haworthia attenuata, is known as Haworthiopsis attenuata. General Succulent Potting Mix Pine Bark and 3ml washed river sand with smaller 1 - 3 ml washed river sand. Haworthia potting mix 6 parts succulent soil mix 2 coir (coarse) 1 part 3ml washed river sand 1 part 1-3ml blend washed river sand (no clay or fines) 1 part perlite 1 part either 4 - 5 ml Scoria or 3 - 6 ml Pumice.
