Harley's decline is more significant than the overall decline in the US, but all motorcycles are struggling this year. So, Harley's downturn is because motorcycles are downturned? Of course, sales in the US dropped after the 2008 crisis. But for some reason, they're still hanging on. Meanwhile, the economy is taking Viagra, car sales are recovering, even among two-wheelers, enduro and small-displacement bikes have increased. So, the only ones that aren't improving are the large-displacement track bikes. And it seems the price tag isn't the issue, since BMW, Docati, Triumph, and KTM are all priced fairly evenly.
